I don’t know about you guys, but I love to think that I’m way funnier than I actually am. Shirts that say punny things are just my weakness – there’s nothing that makes my heart warmer than when someone looks at me and laughs at whatever ridiculous saying my shirt says. Hey, I bought the shirt, so that makes me funny… right? Maybe I’m just an attention whore, or maybe I’m just way too used to people laughing at me, who knows! Anyways, here are some of my favorite shirts that make me giggle.
First up is my SUNDAY FUNDAY shirt. Although I rarely do anything but stuff my face and binge watch Netflix on Sundays, I like to wear this shirt while laying around to lift my spirits up and keep away the Sunday scaries. I purchased this on the Nordstrom Rack website in August, and it is actually a mens shirt size medium (who needs a boyfriend when you can just buy mens clothes yourself); OF COURSE Nordstrom Rack doesn’t have it anymore, but here’s the link to the brand that made it for Nordstrom. So I ended up not buying this shirt at Nordstrom the other day /: ( my mom hates the color red so by law I have to hate red too ) But I think this shirt is hilarious and perfect for hanging out around the holidays. It is actually a super soft pajama shirt, but no one would be able to tell if paired with the something like a black leather jacket or even a jean jacket! Let’s be real – even if you love Trump and you’re not a pothead, these shirts are hilarious. My best friend Emily is wearing the ‘I SUCK’ shirt, and as soon as she put it on we could not stop laughing. She’s actually the reason I got my ‘PotHead’ shirt – YES, I, MIA RODRIGUEZ, AM A PUNNY TSHIRT COPIER. Sorry Em, it was just way too punny to pass up. These tees are definitely conversation pieces; Try wearing one to a party or a bar and be entertained all night by what people have to say to you ( or maybe just the looks they give you ). These babies are sold at this cute little drive thru coffee shop in Springfield, Illinois called Grab A Java and on their website. The owner designs all of them and they’re always coming out with new ones. They run tight, so get whatever you’re comfortable with – Emily is wearing a size small and I’m wearing a size large. Sooooo I got this shirt on Saturday during a little unplanned Target shopping spree ( the usual ) and I’m almost positive it is the absolute softest shirt I have ever bought ( and I buy a lot of soft shirts ). Not only does it say ‘WEEKENDS ARE FOR CUDDLING’ but it feels like you’re cuddled up in the softest blanket you’ve ever felt. I’ve also been living for baby pink lately because it pairs perfectly with my winter vest and new grey beanie which is also from Target. Don’t even get me started on that store – I just love it so much and they’ve really stepped up their women’s and makeup departments. Right now they have soooo many graphic tees and beanies, one of my fav combos. I bought an extra large in this because it’s actually supposed to be tight and not long, which of course is what I tend to stay far away from. Here it is on Target’s website:
Ok, so this is my other best friend Molly’s shirt and I have no idea where she got it, but I just had to show you guys this because who doesn’t need a little reminder now and then ( ;
